The Department of Mechanical Engineering (PLM) of Gyanmanjari Innovative University (GMIU), Bhavnagar offers a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program in Mechanical Engineering (Honours in Electric Vehicles) with an intake of 60 students. Mechanical engineering is a core discipline that applies principles of physics, mathematics, and material science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. The Proficient Learning Method (PLM) adopted by the department emphasizes outcome-based, skill-oriented, and industry-driven education, with a specialized focus on electric vehicle (EV) technology and sustainable mobility.
