The Central Library: The Intellectual Heart of the University

  • The Central Library stands as the heart of the institution, fostering a culture of academic excellence and intellectual growth across the Gyanmanjari Group of Colleges. It houses a monumental collection of over 96,417 books, 50+ periodicals, and more than 300 bound volumes of prestigious journals, covering diverse disciplines such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Science, Computer Science and the Arts etc. To stay ahead in the digital age, the Central Library is fully computerized using SOUL 3.0 software and a Barcode system, offering an OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) for seamless resource location and DELNET membership for global inter-library connectivity. Our infrastructure supports a modern learning environment with an Open Access System, spacious reading halls, and a growing repository of digital resources including 400+ CDs/DVDs and high-speed internet. Operating with extended hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday), the Central Library is managed by a team of dedicated and professionally trained staff committed to providing world-class service to our students and faculty.
