Football Tournament
The Football Tournament held on October 26, 2024, on the university's outdoor football ground brought together students from various departments to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Organized by Prof. Twinkle J. Bhatt, the event aimed to promote values such as teamwork, respect, and perseverance, providing participants with an opportunity to develop both their athletic abilities and interpersonal skills.
From the first whistle, the atmosphere was electrifying, with students cheering enthusiastically from the sidelines, adding to the event's excitement. Players displayed remarkable agility, strategy, and determination in their gameplay, keeping the crowd fully engaged. The competitive spirit was palpable, yet the players maintained a strong sense of sportsmanship, showing mutual respect throughout the matches.

GMIU Kho-Kho Tournament 2024
The Kho-Kho Tournament, held at the GMIU Sports Ground on 27th September 2024, was an exhilarating and memorable event that showcased teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship. A total of 87 students from various departments participated, forming seven competitive teams. The tournament aimed to promote physical fitness, foster camaraderie, and enhance leadership skills while celebrating the traditional Indian sport of Kho-Kho.
The matches were intense and engaging, with players demonstrating agility, speed, and coordination, much to the delight of the cheering spectators. After a day of fierce competition, The Lions emerged as the winners, while Titan Warriors secured the runner-up position. The event concluded with a lively prize distribution ceremony, where the winners were awarded trophies amidst resounding applause.
This well-organized tournament not only celebrated athleticism but also emphasized the values of perseverance, communication, and respect. It highlighted the cultural significance of traditional sports like Kho-Kho and reinforced the importance of physical activities in building resilience and community.
