GMSEC is established to achieve below objectives:
- To generate awareness regarding the need and importance of entrepreneurship development among the students and local community
- To promote design thinking process among the incubates and provide the platform for speedy commercialization of technology
- To facilitate the domain knowledge / skills to develop innovative products / services.
- To facilitate new technology/ knowledge/ innovation based startups
- To build a vibrant startup ecosystem, by establishing a network between academia, financial institutions, industries, and other institutes Providing infrastructural, logistic and guidance support for incubation activities
- Fostering innovation in students through ”innovation Events” and ”workshops
- Facilitating inter-disciplinary activities
- Promoting industry-academia interaction
- Promotion of international exchange programs, internships in innovation and entrepreneurship

Mission
GMIU is committed to provide an excellent infrastructure of co-working spaces, testing laboratories and machinery, expert mentorship, arranging seed money loan, professional networking and legal assistance to the incubated startups for their sustainable growth and financial success, which at large contributes to the nation building.
