Expert Talk

An Expert Talk on “Basic Concepts of GST” was organized at Gyanmanjari Institute of Commerce to enhance students’ understanding of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system in India. The session was delivered by CA Punit Dakhra, a practicing Chartered Accountant, who shared his professional knowledge and practical insights on GST. During the session, the expert explained the basic structure and functioning of GST, including its objectives, types of GST such as CGST, SGST, and IGST, and the importance of GST in the Indian taxation system. Students were also introduced to the concept of input tax credit, GST registration, and the filing of GST returns.

The NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) Workshop was organized to provide
