The objective of the expert talk on “Graphic Design Core Concept”, conducted by Mr. Jay V. Siddhapura, was to introduce students to the foundational principles and real-world applications of graphic design. The session aimed to enhance the creative thinking and visual communication skills of Diploma IT 4th-semester students by:Real-world examples were shared to demonstrate the impact of design in branding, marketing, advertising, and user experience. Case studies, including creative advertising campaigns by brands like McDonald's and Apple, helped students understand how powerful visuals can influence consumer behavior.

The objective of the workshop was to provide students with industry-relevant skills in mobile app development, with a particular focus on building intuitive, modern user interfaces and integrating them with Firebase for backend functionalities such as authentication, real-time databases, and cloud storage. Students were introduced to the principles of modern UI design, the importance of user experience, and strategies to ensure scalability, security, and performance optimization in mobile applications. For diploma students, this knowledge is highly valuable, offering them a competitive advantage in academic projects, hackathons, internships, and job opportunities.

The session followed a hands-on methodology, ensuring students were actively engaged throughout the process. Participants worked step-by-step, starting from Android project setup and UI layout design, progressing to Firebase integration, implementing authentication modules, and managing real-time data. Live demonstrations, interactive coding activities, and peer-to-peer collaboration encouraged problem-solving, idea exchange, and debugging skills. By the end of the workshop, students had developed functional Android app prototypes combining sleek front-end designs with dynamic backend features. This practical achievement highlighted the IT Department’s commitment to producing industry-ready graduates and reinforced its role as a hub for innovation and skill development.
