Gyanmanjari Innovative University, in association with Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA), organized a Theory cum Practical Energy Conservation Awareness Workshop on 20 February 2026 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at XF-01, Seminar Hall, GMIU Campus. The workshop was conducted for students of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and registration was compulsory for all Mechanical & Electrical students. Students registered through the official Google Form link and by scanning the QR code provided in the event poster.
The Department of Computer Engineering, Gyanmanjari Innovative University, organized an Expert Talk under the Training and Placement Activity on 10 July 2026 at the XF Auditorium for Diploma Semester-I (Class A – Premium) students. The session was delivered by Mr. Dhiren Vaishnav, Former Registrar of Bhavnagar University, on the theme "Swimming Pool to the Open Sea." The expert motivated students to step beyond their comfort zones, develop confidence, embrace continuous learning, and prepare for future academic and professional challenges. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, students gained valuable insights into leadership, communication, teamwork, time management, resilience, and career planning. The session inspired participants to adopt a growth mindset and build a strong foundation for their future careers.
The expert talk aimed to bridge academic learning with real-world engineering applications, giving students valuable exposure to current industry trends, practical technologies, and evolving career opportunities. Organized on 18th July 2025 by Sofcon India Pvt. Ltd., the session focused on PLC SCADA, Industrial Automation, and AI-ML, offering insights into how these technologies are transforming modern industries and enabling smart manufacturing. Expert speakers Mr. Vishal Vadher and Mr. Harvish Upadhyay highlighted the practical relevance of theoretical concepts, essential technical and soft skills, and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, sustainability, and ethical engineering practices. The interactive seminar, attended by students across multiple engineering branches, provided hands-on understanding, clarified doubts through Q&A, and concluded with e-certificates, ultimately motivating students to innovate, think critically, and explore emerging technology-driven career paths.
Prof. Jignesh delivered an insightful session on 3D printing, introducing engineering students to its principles and transformative potential in modern manufacturing. He explained additive manufacturing, detailing how 3D printers build objects layer by layer from digital blueprints, and explored the diverse materials used, such as plastics, resins, and metals, highlighting their impact on product properties. Through a live demonstration, students gained hands-on experience with model preparation, calibration, material handling, and machine operation, learning how adjustments influence output quality. Prof. Jignesh illustrated real-world applications across industries like automotive, aerospace, and healthcare, showcasing its use in rapid prototyping and customized medical solutions. Encouraging creativity, he guided students to design and print their models, fostering problem-solving and innovation. The session concluded with a discussion on future advancements, including multi-material printing and sustainable practices, inspiring students to leverage 3D printing in their careers and contribute to industry innovation.
An Expert talk about "Career opportunity in HVAC field and opportunity in startup & innovation in HVAC field" was successfully organized in GMIU. This talk was Jointly Organized with the GMIU and the Student Chapter ISHRAE-India. Two experts chaired the event viz. Mr. Prashant Pathak, who is the Director OFM/s. Phalange Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Rohit Dave( Ex. Manager at GSFC Ltd.-Vadodara), were the International Motivational Speaker and soft skill Trainer.
