Industrial Safety
11 February 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, delivered by Mr. Preet Saraiya, to create awareness among students about safety practices in industries. During the session, he explained the importance of industrial safety in preventing accidents caused by hazardous chemicals, high-pressure equipment, and high-temperature processes. He shared a real-life example of an industrial blast to highlight the serious consequences of negligence, improper handling, and lack of safety awareness. He also discussed why the chemical industry is considered highly hazardous and emphasized the need for following safety protocols, using PPE, proper training, and emergency preparedness. Overall, the session was highly informative and encouraged students to prioritize safety in their future professional careers.
Industrial visit At Lion Chem Dyes

Lion Dyes Chem is a private chemical industry manufacturing Orange dye used in Pharmaceutical industry. It is a small unit producing about 600 kg /batch. A single batch takes almost 2.5 days to complete. The plant was having many types of equipments used in chemical industries along with a boiler, chiller, RO plant, a drying unit, cooling tower and distillation column.
