An iOS lab typically refers to a hands-on environment where students, developers, or professionals can learn, experiment, and work on creating apps for iOS devices (like iPhones and iPads). It involves using tools like Xcode and Swift, focusing on practical exercises such as coding, debugging, and testing iOS applications. The lab may also cover aspects like UI/UX design, performance optimization, and app deployment on the App Store.
The computer laboratories across the campus comprise over six hundred computers for students and staff. The laboratories form an integral part of the curriculum, providing an environment where students reinforce their understanding of the fundamental principles of Computer Engineering and implement that knowledge in experimental analysis and problem-solving. The Computer Engineering department has state of the art laboratory facilities to furnish the needs of engineering students. Every course offered by the department includes laboratory experiments; as a result, every lab is equipped with a sufficient number of latest computer nodes to meet the requirement of a single computer per student.
