As part of the Training & Placement Activities (TPA), an expert talk on “Career in Banking
Sector and Cyber Security” was organised for students to provide them with industry-oriented
knowledge and career guidance. The session covered various career opportunities in the
banking sector, the evolving role of technology in financial services, and the significance of
cyber security in protecting digital transactions, customer information, and banking
infrastructure. The expert also highlighted the skills and competencies required to build a
successful career in banking and cyber security, along with practical insights into industry
expectations, emerging job roles, and professional growth opportunities. The interactive
session enabled students to gain a better understanding of the banking industry and make
more informed career decisions.
The Expert Talk Program is an interactive TPA activity organized to facilitate knowledge
sharing between students and experienced professionals from relevant industries or academic
fields. During the session, the invited expert shares practical experiences, industry insights,
career guidance, and information about current developments in the respective field. Students
get an opportunity to interact directly with the expert, ask questions, and clarify their doubts
regarding technical skills, career paths, workplace expectations, and professional growth. The

the professional environment.
