Above Total Station:

Total station are widely used in various applications, including land surveying, engineering projects, construction site layout, topographic mapping and monitoring of structures. They provide accurate and efficient measurements, making them essential tools for professional working in those fields.

List of Practical Includes:

1. Identify various parts of the Total Station and its application on field,
2. Measurement of Horizontal angle, Vertical angle and Deflection angle,
3. Calculation of R.L. of different elevations.

Description about work:

As discuss above in the practical list Prof. Vimal H. Jogi (Civil Department staff) with the help of our H.O.D. Prof. Ravi J. Sachapara, Arranged the Expert talk on Total Station and DGPS at Gyanmanjari Innovative University to acknowledge the students about Advance surveying Instruments.

For that our H.O.D. sir Invited our Seiner Student who now Professional Surveyor in Bhavnagar City by Work Mr. Nitin Bhojani & Team.

• In Detail, firstly Mr. Nitin sir explains to the student about Total station basics, various parts of Total Station and temporary adjustment of Total Station.
• After acknowledging basics to the students Mr. Nitin sir explain the measurements of horizontal angle, vertical angle and deflection angle to the students and give some task to perform on site.
• After practicing the angles, the next stage to perform the Calculation of R.L. of different elevations, measurement the horizontal distance and vertical distance includes taking reading from instruments and scientific calculations by Total Station.
• At last, Mr. Nitin sir perform the task of office work of Total station data on computer and make drawing work on AutoCAD Software.
• At the end of the day all students are well aware about the Basics of Total Station, field work on Total Station and make office work in AutoCAD.
