We have well-equipped laboratories of chemistry that provides all the facilities related to volumetric, gravimetric, colorimetric, different instrumental analysis and also substance analysis(Organic spotting & Inorganic Qualitative Analysis). All the required apparatus according to the experiments prescribed in the syllabus are available. Students are encouraged to put efforts in developing skills of experimenting in research fields.
Chemical fluid flow operation labs are essential in chemical engineering programs for providing practical experience in understanding and applying fluid dynamics principles. These labs offer students the opportunity to conduct experiments using various equipment to study different aspects of fluid flow, including measurement of fluid properties, flow characteristics, and frictional losses.
A Heat Transfer Operations Lab is a practical educational space where students gain hands-on experience with heat transfer principles and their applications. It provides a platform for understanding the three modes of heat transfer – conduction, convection, and radiation – and their impact on various industrial processes. Through experiments, students learn about heat transfer in different scenarios
A Mass Transfer Operations Lab focuses on understanding and applying the principles of mass transfer, which is the movement of mass from one location to another, often between different phases (like gas to liquid). These labs provide hands-on experience with equipment used in chemical engineering processes, such as distillation, absorption, extraction, and leaching. Students learn about various mass transfer operations and how they're used in industries for separation and purification of materials
A chemical engineering process lab is a dedicated space where students and researchers conduct experiments and studies related to chemical processes. These labs provide hands-on experience with equipment and techniques used in the design, operation, and optimization of chemical processes
A Chemical Reaction Engineering lab is a hands-on educational space where students learn about chemical kinetics, reactor operation, and the design of chemical processes. It provides practical experience complementing theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom. The lab allows students to explore the behavior of chemical reactions in various reactor types and conditions, such as batch, continuous stirred-tank, and plug flow reactors
A Mechanical Operations Lab, particularly in the field of Chemical Engineering, is a hands-on facility where students learn about and apply various mechanical processes used in industrial settings. These labs provide practical experience with equipment used for size reduction, separation, and filtration of solids, liquids, and gases
A Chemical Process Control and Instrumentation Lab is a specialized laboratory where students and researchers learn about and apply the principles of instrumentation and control in chemical processes. These labs focus on measuring and controlling process variables like temperature, pressure, flow, and level, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
